Introduction

From the very first year of becoming an attorney in 1980, I began to handle copyright and trademark matters.  Even though I started my career working for one of the largest law firms in New Jersey, at that time very few such large firms had departments in this area and so my interest became a magnet for such work.  Since that time, I have concentrated and focused my practice on assisting clients with the registration, acquisition and licensing of trademarks, and the prosecution and defense of trademark litigation and with the  registration of copyrights, acquisitions and sales of copyrighted materials and the licensing of copyrights.  I have also assisted my clients with the prosecution and defense of copyright infringement litigation and the acquisitions and sales of patents and non-patented inventions, licensing of patents, and the prosecution and defense of patent infringement litigation.
